As of November 7th 2025, the IFT-017-2023 Technical Provision published on the DOF (Diario Oficial de la Federación) is in effect and being enforced in Mexico.

Radiocommunication systems that use wireless access, local area radio networks, and radiocommunication equipment utilizing digital modulation technique that operate in the bands listed below now require IFT-017 testing as part of the homologation process in Mexico:

• 5150 MHz-5250 MHz
• 5250 MHz-5350 MHz
• 5470 MHz-5600 MHz
• 5650 MHz-5725 MHz
• 5725 MHz-5850 MHz
• 5925 MHz-6425 MHz
